HATS OFF TO PRIME MINISTER KEVIN RUDD

THE Whole world Needs A Leader Like This!

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd – Australia

image001

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote:

‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. ‘

‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’

‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!’

‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’

‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.’

‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE’..’

‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.’

Blogger Sues GOOGLE and Wins!

Aaron Greenspan Wins Legal Battle Against Google Adsense

Google Adsense Program is undoubtedly the best contextual advertising network available on Internet. In recent times Google has been receiving severe criticism on disabling Adsense accounts for no valid reasons, even if there were reasons they never disclose them and gave same lame or rather unclear replies. Google scourge many valid Adsense publishers who lost their unpaid earnings which amount to several hundreds of dollars in some cases. Google boasts that they are doing it in interest of advertisers but the bans have never been proved so that their tracking technology doesn’t come in eyes of miscreants.

The story is about a man “Aaron Greenspan “who audaciously won legal battle against Google Adsense. One fine day he received this email from Google Adsense team.

Your AdSense account for this login is currently disabled. We recommend checking your email inboxes for any messages we may have sent you regarding your account status. Sometimes our messages can be caught by email filters, so please be sure to check the Bulk/Spam folders of your email accounts as well.

If your account was disabled for invalid click activity, please visit our Disabled Account FAQ for more information.

Aaron was shocked and amazed and he was very sure that he was never indulging in any of fraudulent method like cloaking or invalid click exchanges. Like any other man he tried to contact Google adsense people by several ways…

Surely this bashing by court would bring some relief to novice publishers. I can’t hold myself laughing after the comment Adsense representative gave in court proceedings:

“But it’s not fair!” Google’s paralegal protested. “What if everyone whose account was canceled sued Google?”

Well Google I hate to say this but we have a precedent.

Your Evil ways are over!!!

What am I giving up for Lent?

Missing Carnival for me was giving up a lot.

However I can use as an example one on the commander in chief’s  list:

lent1

I am definitely giving up not getting into any political discussion about Obama’s crazy economic ideas or his stimulus package.

I still however, am staying  involved in making sure that we get a universal health care plan in place and that we do not allow offshore drilling off the California coast.

I would like to give up house work, but unless I get Rosy to come and live with me, that is not going to happen, unless I want to live in a dirty home.  NO!

I love a great glass of wine, and I could give that up.

I could also give up going to the Eagle’s nest on a Friday to meet friends.

Nah.  I think the political discussions would be enough.

What are you giving up for Lent?

Ah kar mash down de place!

Today is Carnival Tuesday and I am in California.

My beautiful costume will not be worn by me today.

However in my soul I can feel the music, excitement, merriment, laughter, camaraderie and joy of being with family and friends on the streets celebrating.

I can imagine  enjoying  a scotch and coconut water and a good goat roti and doubles – let me not forget the doubles!

Next year I will be able to “Mash down de place”

Political Opinions

I was happy to see Sean Penn win the academy award for best actor.

What I cannot understand is why when some actors win and Academy Award, they use the world as a stage and the podium as their personal platform, for them to not only spout their political opinions but to condemn other Americans for theirs.

Let us not forget that the Academy Awards is a celebration the art of Movie Making.  It should be free of all political, religious and social agendas.

Who does Sean Penn think he  is for lambasting Americans for their different points of view?  Who does he think he is for putting Americans down for exercising their right to vote?   Who does he think he is referring to the majority of California’s voters as “shameful” ?

Voters in California passed “Yes on 8″ last November… thereby banning
gay marriage in the state.

We all are different with contrasting and amazing stories that make each of us the way we are.  Our history makes us vote for things that matter to us and affect our lives.  Putting people down has a negative effect on the change we want to make happen.

No drilling off the California Coast

Hi Friends,

I am writing you on behalf of an issue that I know is important to you as it is to me.  President Obama has approved oil drilling off the coast of California as well as Alaska.  Americans have only 60 days to let their opinion be heard on this issue.  As a private citizen, my circle of influence is very small.  With great respect, I urge you to please use your influence and connections to share this information with as many people as possible, as well as to help direct my email within your organization.

We all know the awful environmental impact oil drilling will have.  In his inaugural address, Obama stressed the importance of harnessing green energy, the power of the sun and the wind, for our future.  Please help to hold him accountable to this.  Oil drilling will destroy everything we’ve worked so hard for here in California and we will most likely not see a drop of that oil for at least 10 years.

You can contact Obama via his presidential website:  http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Or via post:
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Or by phone: 202-456-1111

Please help to stop the destruction of our precious California and Alaska coastlines, our wildlife, the beauty of our nature.  The more people we have responding to this, the better chance we have of preventing the destruction of our precious environment. We have the power to change this!

Respectfully,
Kate Warner

I am disappointed in Mr. Obama who is always willing to spout out about everything, including his stimulus plan that he sent to the Senate, (One President at a time, sir, remember!), or is that he does not care about the suffering Palestinians who constantly live at the mercy of the WORLD’S GREATEST TERRORIST ORGANIZATION – THE ISRAELI ARMY.
I was happy when I voted as I believed that THE AMERICAN PEOPLE will have a Pro Palestinian PRESIDENT in the white house, but my hopes soon were dashed after he named Rahm Emanuel, an Israeli, as Chief of staff.
You know Mr. Obama; you said that you would not like someone sending rockets that could harm your daughters.  Have you ever thought of what it would be like living in Gaza under military siege?  That your daughters and your family every day living in a jail by the Israelis and treated worst than animals. That your daughters and wife never having an opportunity to travel, education, basic necessities of life including FREEDOM! That your daughters could loose their loved ones and be alone!.

ss-090107-gaza-mwteasevsmall
It is awful for the Palestinians.  If they had the 16 billion dollars of the US tax players hard earned money, (which we desperately need now in this recession) and have an up-to-date Air force, tanks and boats, that we provide Israel they definitely will not be trying to make a point by sending rockets that killed – how many – 3 Israelis. Does that give the Israeli government a right to invade another country with no regard for any human life?

1894ff1febd6f958

I suppose that since they are under siege they do not consider it a country! Cut off all supplies, including food, utilities, hospital and medical supplies and deny the entrance of the international press. Who are they to do that?
Why if Mr. Obama you choose to be silent (and I am sure that things will not change form the Bush administration, where this is concerned) is the world not doing something. Why are the other Muslims countries not helping their brothers? Is it because the US pays Egypt to stay neutral?
Mr. Obama, Hamas is the elected Government of the people of Gaza.

The world is speaking out.

ss-090107-gaza-reax-teasevsmall

Free Palestine and let Hamas do their job of governing. Not giving them a chance and calling them terrorists. What organization causes more terror than the Israeli army!
They will not be able to stop Hamas. They will kill a lot of innocent people children and women and create more hatred toward Israel and more sympathy to Hamas and the plight of the Palestinians.
nn_04engel_morestrikes_090107vsmall

They will cause unnecessary destruction.

090106-gazaceasefire-hmed-7ah2

Palestine should be a free state and I hope Mr. Obama you would be able to accomplish this in your term of office.

If we have learned anything from history is that peace cannot be accomplished by enslaving others.

No Bailout for US Auto Makers

I am appalled that we are bailing out the US Auto Makers at a time when we are in a recession, hard working Americans are loosing their jobs, their homes and what little healthcare coverage that they had; people cannot afford to put food on the table or buy gas to go to the supermarket.  We do not have a healthcare system, many single mothers, children and the elderly do not have health care!

Are our Senators and elected officials living on a different planet!  Well at least some of them are:

GOP senators voice opposition to auto bailout

Republicans revolt as House begins procedural votes on the loan package

If the Automobile companies are going bankrupt, they should file for Bankruptcy and reorganize and get rid of the CEOs that were not doing their jobs that created this present situation.  The large salaries and bonuses of the CEOs  the unnecessary perks and the corporate jets MUST go.  I still cannot believe flying in on corporate jets to beg for 36 Billion dollars.  Where is the money going to come from? Your taxes and mine!  We will be working to support the extravagant life styles of the US. Auto CEOs!

Other auto makers seem to be doing fine:  Honda, Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes to name a few.

My fellow Americans, we can do something about this.

We can contact our representatives in Government and tell them that we do not support the bailout.

For California:

Diane Feinstein

One Post Street, Suite 2450

San Francisco, CA 94104

Phone: (415) 393-0707

Fax:     (415) 393-0710

United States Senate

331 Hart Senate Office Building

Washington, DC 20510

Barbara Boxer

1700 Montgomery Street, Suite 240

San Francisco, CA 94111

(415) 403-0100

I have also started a list of signatures and I intend to mail them to Senator Feinstein’s office.

If you have a group church, office, gym, try to get people to get involved and sign a petition.

We can stop this madness.

I Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

As a Christian I take pride in who I am and I love to share my celebrations with my friends of all nationalities and religious beliefs. I do not want them to change or become anything else but who they are. I love to share their celebrations. It makes me a better person in understanding myself and others, and creating a better and more peaceful world.

So I sent out Christmas wishes. This is a season of Goodwill, love, peace and Christmas cheer. It is not a holiday season, some people may be on holiday, but for me this is Christmas. I do not want any political correct politician or anyone else for that matter watering down my tradition, by calling it the “Holiday Season”.

Many of the large retailers are non Christian and are quick to put up Christmas Trees in their stores to get money from people celebration the Christmas Season, not caring anything about beliefs and traditions. No for them it is a money making time of year.

I read about a Rabbi in Seattle that forced the mayor to take down the Christmas trees at the airport and to my surprise the mayor did. Shame on you Mr. Mayor. Stand up for all the Christians and Non Christian in your city. This Rabbi has taken a season of Goodwill and peace and love and changed it into one of Illwill, hatred and resentment toward what he represents. He could have asked for next year to put up something that represents his tradition, or has he ever heard of a democratic vote! I am sure there were more people that will vote for our beautifully decorated Christmas trees.

So to all my friends I wish you all:

A Very Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas!

CHANGE

The only change that I have seen so far is Mr. Obama’s change of mind and that is the change you can count on!

The first thing that he does when he wins the election is to  nominate A Washington Insider – Rahm Emanuel.

Change you say. I say business as usual in Washington!

More than 3 million Americans gave this inexperienced person a chance to be President. There were many young Americans (65%) who supported you and who are young intelligent, educated, some innovators and true visionaries and are not Washington insiders.

I gave you a donation for your campaign and you I know that it was a gift but you were very secretive about all the decisions you made and everyone you hired to run the campaign.

But this is different this is the Government, these are my tax dollars.

I do not want to hear any more of your preaching. It is over!

I do not care who is the love of your life we all have those and some fortunate people have more that one.

I do not care about  the dog that your kinks can have, you should let your children know not the world.

Stop right now in making this a celebrity white house, putting people off the real problems.

Your personal life is your own, keep it that way.

Get on with the business of running a country and as you have no experience you have a lot of work to do!

As you say this change you promised will not happen in a year or even in a term, well start moving you may not have another term.

All jobs that are available should be advertised, like every company in the US has to do, the government should be no different, that is why we have problems and that is why I truly want fundamental change.

If you think that this task is beyond you I know may people that can help.

I can recommend many individuals, both young and old, bi-lingual, bi cultural, innovators and a true visionaries.  People with a fresh outlook that can truly make a change.

Some have lived and traveled to more places in the world than most Americans would in his/her lifetime. Laos, New Zealand, Trinidad & Tobago, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, Bali, Italy, France, The UK, Barbados, Sweden, Jamaica, Australia, St. Lucia, Vietnam, Morocco, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand to name a few.

One of the great things about the young voters they are educated and know how they would like their world to be. They are not devoted to anyone party but to the changes they would like to see. If that does not happen they could and would again change the political process.
